A poignant piece is demonstrating nature in human form. Although usually represented in the feminine, nature in this piece portrayed as overtly masculine. The figure still possesses the beauty usually associated with mother nature, as depicted by the colorful flowers. The character himself makes stark eye contact with the viewer. His expression is one of cold, indignation. Just by observing the painting, the viewer immediately senses the figure’s penetrating gaze. The figure’s right hand is also visible as if to uncover his pale body.
