Rene Galant

Rene Galant is a French artist, born in 1914 in the small town Chalagmac (province of Dordogne, France). After finishing art school in Limoges, Rene Galant went to Paris, where he became part of the Bohemia society. He became acquainted with Luis Buñuel, Coco Chanel, Jean Dubuffet and others. Galant was active and lived in France. He is known for his figural genre. Recently more than 50 works was exhibited at the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg.
